I'm Ignacio Leonidas — a documentary style photographer and filmmaker with a deep appreciation for storytelling. Influenced by my background as a film director and a photojournalist, I blend film and digital media to deliver a product that’s honest and elegant.

Whether it’s composing portraits, shooting candid photos among loved ones, or directing a full length film, my goal is to convey emotion through imagery.

In my 15 years of experimenting with media, I have carefully honed my professional style to offer a versatile and highly curated range of services.

Whether I’m shooting on lush 35mm or 120mm film, capturing the movement of Super 8, or crafting something digital and editorial, I work with intention, artistry, and care.

My work has been featured in film festivals and exhibits around the world. I live in New York City with my wife where we continue to draw inspiration from the city’s colorful images and inhabitants.
